Sex, Seaweed and Skullvines Press

Skullvines Press( Publishers of the ever popular sasquatch porn) touts themselves as publishers of "Warped Horror". Likewise their motto states they publish "whatever the F*** they want."

Well,Rich Ristow keeps the tradition alive with his contribution: "Into the Cruel Sea."
It's your basic boy meets girl; boy falls in love with girl; boy brutally slaughters his parents and disappears under the tides with fish folks; boy wants girl to join him. You see, pretty basic.

Here's the thing, though. Although Rich's piece is just shy of 60 pages, it is a prime example of the adage" Brevity is the soul of wit." In 60 pages, Ristow gives us everything we need be engulfed in(and repulsed by) his characters and plot.

The love story is as horribly dysfunctional yet beautiful as you can get and the premise is something that I don't see much of these days, original.

Another nice thing about this story is that, at just 60 pages, you can finish it while your waiting on your psychiatrist to see you.

Pick it up here and enjoy another offering from the #1 publisher in need of serious counseling, Skullvines Press.
